Water For Life Global Foundation

WATER FOR LIFE GLOBAL FOUNDATION, (“WFLG”, or the “Foundation”) is a global organization committed to delivering innovative turnkey water solutions to the world’s needy. The specific market for the WFLG mobile filtration system is the government of countries that are under this global water crisis.  According to UNICEF, 1.1 billion people lack access to clean, safe drinking water, with 900 million living in rural areas, which are served by the mobile systems.  A staggering 125 million of these people are children under five years of age.  According to United Nations, 9,500 children die each day from waterborne diseases from contaminated water sources.  Water For Life Global will gift the mobile filtration systems, to a limited number of rural areas on behalf of the local governments.  WFLG, through an advisory and consulting agreement with SL Hare Capital International, will work with international finance and banking institutions, private corporations, donors and foundations to assist in financing of these systems and infrastructure for the local governments.  WFLG will contract with the ministers of water, sewage, public works, telecom and electricity, to facilitate infrastructure financing, development and maintenance.

WFLG distributes mobile water systems technology for SOS Mobile Water Treatment Systems and SOS Personal Purifier  to areas that need to provide clean, safe drinking water because of its contaminated sources.  Water For Life Global Foundation was formed to help deliver clean, safe drinking water to the world’s needy, while its sister foundation, Food For Life Global (www.ffl.org) serves 1.5 million meals daily in India, and has served more than 800 million meals to date.  This approach allows international countries, like Africa and India to receive the immediate benefits for their citizens.

The Water for Life Global Project will facilitate the provision of clean water to the world’s neediest through three amazing products:

* SOS Personal Purifier (Straw)
* SOS Mobile Water Purification System

 “Each of these products is making a tremendous and positive impact on the world,” explained Ricardo A. Richardson, WFLG Vice Chairman. “The SOS Mobile Water Purification System, in particular, is a revolutionary new product in the market that builds upon the SOS Straw technology, and is the most cost-efficient solution for providing clean water to the needy anywhere in the world, on a temporary and permanent basis, utilizing current contaminated water sources. The technology does not use added chemicals, only a proprietary kill media that removes bacteria, viruses, odor, and taste from contaminated water.”

Water For Life Global recently launched a purification demonstration on May 22, 2009, in Washington, DC, and presented a mobile water system to President Jakaya Kikwete of Tanzania.  Mr. Sy Hare of SL Hare Capital, Inc., pledged a donation of over four hundred mobile water purification systems to Tanzania and Africa.  President Kikwete accepted on behalf of the Republic of Tanzania. Several key diplomats from the U.S., Africa, India, London, China and Brazil were present at the “Taste of Potomac in Washington, DC”.

 Water For Life Global will work with the international community of corporate partners, foundations, supporters, and volunteers  to help the foundation provide the SOS mobile water system and SOS LifeSavior straws to those in need.
